Our selection of single vintage or ‘small-batch’ wines are inspired by the vibrant and harmonious sounds of the cicada, which is the quintessential sound of the Australian summer and can be heard as you approach the Lavender Ridge property.
We are passionate about crafting exceptional wines that are a true reflection of the unique red volcanic clay terroir of the Broke Fordwich region of the Hunter Valley.
Our grapes are picked with the utmost care and attention to detail at peak ripeness to ensure that each bottle of wine is of the highest quality. We specialise in producing premium shiraz, pinot rosé, tempranillo and verdelho, with our shiraz block originally planted over 27 years ago in 1996.
At our family-operated winery we are committed to producing wines of the highest quality while also preserving the natural beauty of our environment.
By using only our own grapes, and nurturing them with minimal intervention wine-making techniques we aim to ensure we preserve the land for future generations.
